Pneumatic and hydraulic pressure calibrators of the SIKA series PM and PC range distinguish themselves especially by high accuracy of measurement and company construction style.

The calibrators are used in the field or laboratory, production and service for inspection or calibration of pressure sensors, gauges, pressure switches and bypass valves. Reference pressures of -1 up to 700 bar can be generated in a fast and simple way. Exact adjustment of the desired pressure is carried out by a precision adjustment valve The reference pressure is indicated via an analogue precision pressure gauge or a digital LCD Display. The instruments under test are connected to the pressure output of the calibrators by a pressure hose an an adapter. Compensation of the temperature influence in the range of -10...+15oC is carried out automatically.

For rough use on the spot the calibrators can be supplied in protection class IP 65 or IP 68. Power supply is realised by batteries or rechargeable accumulators. The automatic measuring range switch of the PC and PM PIC series grants an optimal resolution with any application.

Software

Our SIKA pressure calibrators have a serial interface RS 232 for data acquisition via an external computer (PC). Customer specific documentation of the measured values in the form of works certificates and calibration reports is very easy and simple in conjunction with our test and calibration software. The software package is designed to meet the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9000 ff and contains in detail:

  • program for evaluation of the measuring results via external PC
  • database, data storage and print out of works certification
  • coded and licensed for one calibrator
  • data cable for RS 232 included
  • WINDOWS - version

Certification

The basic assumption for quality is the regular calibration/re-calibration of measuring instruments and calibrators. The calibration/re-calibration should be done as described in the DIN EN ISO 9000 ff standard. This stand requires that measuring devices which are used for inspection or calibration agree with national standards, i.e. they are certified. The SIKA precision pressure calibrators of series PC and PM can be supplied alternatively with DKD certificate or SIKA works certificate.

Model PK II

Low pressure tester, portable and ideal for field or laboratory use. The PK II tester is used for low pressure applications up to 30 psi (2 bar). Available in 7 engineering units: psi, g/cm2, kPa, bar, inH2O, cmH2O, and mmHg. This industry standard has an accuracy of up to ±0.015% of reading. Housed in a rugged case made for 'closed case' operation to protect from wind conditions. The tester base includes a built-in mounting for optional tripod use. Also available for medical applications ready for use with Oxygen.

Model RK

Accurate up to ±0.015% of indicated reading, this primary standard is ideal for pressure ranges from 1 to 300 psi (0.01 to 20 bar) and provides for incremental pressures down to only 0.1 psi (1 mbar). Available in seven different engineering units: inH2O, psi, kPa, cmH2O, inHg, bar and kg/cm2. Features a cast metal base with quick levelling for field or laboratory use. Model HK

High pressure tester for high pressure applications up to 1,500 psi (100 bar), HK series testers operate in the same easy manner as the Model PK II and RK testers. HK testers feature an accuracy up to ±0.025% and a repeatability of up to ±0.005% of reading. Available in psi, kg/cm2, kPa and bar engineering units.

Hydraulic Deadweight Testers

 

   

Type T

These high accuracy deadweight testers are ideal for laboratory or field use. The type T tester uses distilled water or fluid compatible with 300 series stainless steel and MONEL (including AAA tester oil). For applications up to 15,000 psi (1,000 bar). An optional dual piston lets you interchange piston/cylinder assemblies to extend the pressure measurement range using the same weight set. A kit is available for converting to a dual column tester.

Dual Column

 

Separate columns are provided for high and low pressure measuring piston/cylinder assemblies. Range changes are achieved using a built-in crossover valve that allows three-point calibrations to be performed in seconds. It is not necessary to purchase a second set of weights. Fill fluids and pressure ranges are the same as type T single column testers.

Hydralite Portable

This extremely compact, self-contained portable tester is designed for pressure ranges from 10-200 psi (1-15 bar) up to 50-3,000 psi (5-225 bar). Accurate to ±0.05% of reading, the unit features an easy-to-use screw pump with ratcheting handle and re-entrant type piston/cylinder assembly. This helps maintain accuracy as the test pressure increases. Weights and piston assemblies are interchangeable. The unit's AAA tester oil may be easily inspected through the transparent reservoir. Compact design in only 9 x 9 x 10 inches (23 x 23 x 24.5 cm). Tripod option available for field applications.

U-Tube Manometers

 

   

U-tube manometers for relative and absolute pressures, vacuum and differential pressures.
These devices are primary standards and are void of faults within their physical tolerances. They are designed to measure pressure and are suitable for calibrating high precision pressure sensors.

Miniscope Manometers

Ideal for pressure and differential pressures with a resolution of better than 0.002 mbar. The model MIN 2 has a measuring range from 0 to 20 mbar (0.29 psi). The model MIN2 is designed for extremely low differential pressure that can be measured at static pressures up to 600 mbar (8.5 psi).


The MINISCOPE manometer is reproducible primary standards and do not require recalibration. It is very easy to operate and maintain and feature a total uncertainty of only ±1/100 mbar.  Generation of a stable and precise test pressure is made easy by the special and very large actively stressed pressure surface design inside the MINISCOPE manometer. It is inherently temperature stable due to the large mass.

MINISCOPE manometers are ideal for pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries for calibration of monitoring sensors in clean-room applications; equipment for standards authorities and for flow measurements using the differential pressure method in air-conditioning and ventilation industries, cement industries and others.

Manoscope & Baroscope Manometers

Ideal for pressure measurements of low differentials at high static pressures.  MANOSCOPE manometers are operated by means of water or mercury as confined liquids. The negative leg is made of special pressure-proof glass. This design enables you to adjust the reading device to the meniscus of the confined liquid. Accurate positioning and parallactic-free reading of the vernier is possible by means of the slide design. They feature a range up to 2.1 bar (30 psi) and a resolution better than 0.2 mbar. The uncertainty is typically ±0.5 mbar.

BAROSCOPE manometers operate in the same way as the MANOSCOPE models. However, these models are used as a high precision absolute pressure gauge in the barometric field. They feature ranges up to 1,100 mbar (15.6 psi) or absolute with the same specification as for the MANOSCOPE.

Pneumatic Hand Pump - T-920 

The T-920 pump is an easy-to-use single hand-operated pneumatic pump.  The T-920 pump features both vacuum and pressure generation up to 600 psi (40 bar).  One button (valve) makes it easy to switch from vacuum to pressure measurements. Built-in release valve, vernier valve for fine adjustment and dual pressure output enable safe and simple operation.

Pressure range -13.3 psi to 600 psi / -0.91 to 40 bar.

Hydraulic hand pump - T-620

This easy-to-use hand pump is specially designed for high pressure applications. The pump is used in the DPC-500 / APC / IPI system C.
The pump has a 0.5 pint / 200 cl built-in oil reservoir, vent valve, and vernier valve for fine adjustment. The pump has a dual pressure output - one for the test object and one for the APC calibrator.

Hydraulic Pump - Type T

The type T pump is designed for high pressure applications up to 15,000 psi (1,000 bar) and is used in the DPC-500 / APC / IPI System F. The pump and system may be ordered with either oil or a water/alcohol mixture as the pressure medium. The pump is constructed of 300 series stainless steel and Monel allowing for the use of other hydraulic media.

The Type T pump features a dual pressure output manifold, fine adjustment vernier valve, relief valve, and dual volume control for rapid pressure increase at lower pressures and easier pumping at higher pressures.

Pneumatic Pump - T-810 and T-811

T-810 is designed for applications up to 7 bar (101 psi). T-811 is designed for vacuum applications down to 635 mmHg (25 inHg). Both pumps are supplied with NPT or metric fittings.

Use the T-810 and T-811 together with the EPM series.

High Pressure Testers

These comparators are ideal secondary standards for pressure measurement.  The comparator test sets consist of a hydraulic hand pump on a pan as the pressure source, a test manifold and a set of four US Gauge 4.5" test gauges.  Gauge PSIG spans vary with model.

Pressure comparators allow you to accurately and rapidly test pressure instrumentation by comparing the instrument on a pressurised test manifold with test gauges of known accuracy and span.  Model T & R Comparators feature hand-operated pumps with a manual dual volume control valve.  The control valve delivers high volume to rapidly build pressure and low volume for easy pumping and a gradual approach to the calibration point.  The instrument features a test manifold with vernier for controlling pump pressure.
