| The LF Plus Series digital material testing machine is an easy to use solution for force measurement and material testing applications up to 225 lbf (1 kN) capacities. The machine uses interchangeable XLC Series loadcells as the load measurement system. Tension and compression testing with cycling to load and extension limits are standard features. The machine can be equipped with a variety of accessories including grips, fixtures, compression frames and extensometers. The LF Plus features an innovative design that maximizes working space and simplifies operation and maintenance. The large work area and deep 7 inch (175mm) throat accommodates large specimens and can be supplied with a standard universal eye end or optional expanded work table, T-slot table or stainless steel drip pan. An impressive 0.05 to 1270mm/min (0.002 to 50 in/min) crosshead speed makes it ideal for difficult applications including creep tests or constant load holding tests. Digital Test Stands  | The Chatillon® force test stands compliment the force gauges and supply you with precise load and extension measurement. We offer a complete selection of mechanical, motorized, pneumatic and digital testers. We also offer material testers up to 1100 lbf (5kN) capacities, plus a line of spring testers. Chatillon test stands may be mounted on a benchtop and used in the laboratory, production floor, shop or office. Mechanical Test Stands MT-150 & MT -500 The Chatillon MT-150 & MT-500 Series Mechanical Test Stands are an ideal solution for tensile and compression testing up to 150 lbf (660N) capacities for MT-150 & 500 lbf (2500N) capacities for MT-500. Combine with a Chatillon force gauge for an economical, manual testing system perfect for the production floor or lab. The MT Testers feature an innovative, modular design that maximizes working space while simplifying operation and maintenance. Testers may be equipped with an quick-action lever or precision hand wheel for controlling crosshead speed and trave. MT Testers can be bench mounted, wall mounted or positioned horizontally. Motorized Test Stands LTCM-100 The Chatillon LTCM-100 Series motorized tester, combined with a Chatillon gauge, is perfect for applications requiring an economical solution to tensile or compression testing. THE LTCM-100 test stand has a large work area making it ideal for production environment or applications with large test samples. Crosshead movement is operator controlled using a switch that can be set to move the crosshead up or down at a specified speed. Speed is user-selectable. Positive braking and high and low limits are standard. TCM201 Series The Chatillon TCM201 Series of motorized test stands offer customers an easy-to-operate motorized testing system that is precise enough for the laboratory and rugged enough for the production floor. Stands feature an all-metal construction with ball screw and dual support columns for positive motor control and minimal deflection. Manually adjustable limits stop crosshead travel at precise user specified locations. Rotary dials are easy to operate and allow the user to specify speed requirements and test mode. Dedicated function keys provide fast motion control adjustment (up, down, stop). Units operate in four modes: single cycle at upper limit, single cycle at lower limit, continuous cycling between limits, and manual. A selector switch is provided for specifying return speed after testing. LTCM-500 Series The Chatillon LTCM-500 Series motorized tester, combined with a Chatillon gauge, is perfect for applications requiring an economical solution to tensile or compression testing up to 550 lbf (2500N). A large working area and 5-inch (130mm) throat and long 29.5-inch (750mm) travel is ideal for tensile, compression, flexural, shear and peel testing. Tester includes mechanical and digital load limits that can be used to control crosshead movement, e.g. stop the crosshead when a load limit is achieved. An innovative T-Slot work surface ensures proper centre line alignment and fast fixture setup. An optional expanded work table is ideal for very large samples with diameters over 10-inches (250mm). Controls are simple and intuitive making it ideal for production environments. An optional footswitch can be used for "hands-free operation" and used to control crosshead movement. An optional splinter shield is also available.
